Best dnd 5e shadow blade To Watch With A Guy
This is a plea from all the men out there to their loving wife or girlfriend to please let us compromise on the best romance movies to watch. Us men would sit through the Overboard movie and Fifty First Dates, perhaps I should elaborate on this further.
It’s a fact that women dress their best to please other women and men dress their best to please women. With that in mind men pretty much will do anything to please women. Even watch sappy romance movies with our favorite girl. “Lovey-dovey” movies that men will never watch by themselves and definitely never ever with their buddies.
Of course us men will say yes to a romantic movie with you, but ladies you must understand that men (and I think I’m speaking for most of us) have a limited attention span when it comes to movies. If the flick does not have a car chase, shoot-out, lots of blood and gore, outrageous comedy or a bikini or two, our male mind will drift off somewhere else. Which reminds me, please do not ask us any questions about the romantic movie that we just saw.

So what do you say that on our next choice of the best romance movie that we compromise and go for a romance/comedy or romance/action or romance/comedy/action? Bikinis are not a priority!
I actually really do like the Overboard movie and Fifty First Dates, but along with those I have some other suggestions from the best romance movies list right here….
Overboard – 1987
Starring: Kurt Russel as Dean Proffitt, Goldie Hawn as Joanna Stayton. Also Micheal Hagerty, Edward Herrmann, Katherine Helmond.
Filthy rich snobby Joanna Stayton and her husband Grant Stayton III land their yacht at a small port in Oregon. Joanna, the spoiled brat hires one of the locals to build a closet on her yacht. Dean Proffitt built the closet, argued with Joanna and got kicked off the yacht, unpaid and slightly perturbed. Suddenly Mrs. Stayton falls overboard and nobody on the yacht notices. With a bad case of amnesia Joanna Stayton was found then put on local TV. Dean Proffitt the struggling carpenter sees this opportunity of revenge and children sitting, persuades the once very rich Mrs. Stayton that her name is Annie Proffitt and she is his wife also mother to four obnoxious kids. Proffitt’s plan works for a while before she remembers. Very funny, a must see movie.
Romancing The Stone – 1984
Starring: Micheal Douglas as Jack Colton, Kathleen Turner as Joan Wilder, Danny DeVito as Ralph.
With a mystery map in hand Joan Wilder a romance novelist flies from New York and ends up in the rural jungles of Columbia. Almost killed by the Zolo locals, which are led by a corrupt Columbian policeman, and is saved by an American swashbuckling hero type, Jack T. Colton. Jack agrees to take Joan back to civilization, to safety with hurdles added such as a most wanted emerald, the mystery map and a swindler named Ralph who’s hot on their trail. This adventurous jungle thrill ride gives lots of action, comedy and romance.
Always – 1989
Starring: Richard Dreyfuss, John Goodman, Holly Hunter.
Steven Spielberg directed this fantasy romance movie about an aerial firefighter who dies in a crash leaving a very distraught girlfriend. The pilot comes back as a ghost and helps a rookie become the best fire fighting pilot but the rookie falls in love with the dead pilots girlfriend. A very touching film, but it also has action and comedy.

Fifty First Dates – 19
Starring: Adam Sandler as Henry Roth, Drew Barrymore as Lucy Whitemore, Sean Astin and Blake Clark as Lucy’s brother and father and Rob Schneider.
Out of the best romance movies to watch this one leans more towards the lady’s picks than the men’s. The comedy definitely helps the male like it also.
In a Hawaiian paradise carefree womanizer Henry Roth meets Lucy Whitemore and hits it off with her right away. Next day seeing Henry, Lucy does not remember a thing. She has short term memory loss. Lucy’s dad and brother re-enact everyday just for her with a birthday and everything. Everyday is repeated over and over as if it’s a whole new day. Good funny movie and yes romantic.
The Proposal – 2009
Starring: Ryan Reynolds as Andrew Paxton, Sandra Bullock as Margaret Tate, Craig T. Nelson, Mary Steenburgen, Betty White.
Margaret Tate is a strict editor for a New York publishing company. The Canadian Margaret faces deportation due to her expired visa and decides to marry her slave assistant Andrew Paxton in promise for a huge promotion, which he agreed upon. Funny bumbling humor, a great comedy romance movie.
Wedding Crashers – 2005
Starring: Owen Wilson as John Beckwith, Vince Vaughn as Jeremy Grey, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, Christopher Walken.
Jeremy Grey and John Beckwith are lifelong pals and business partners as divorce mediators. These two share intensely a unique hobby. They crash weddings from all walks of life and religions. Having free fun and meeting girls is what its all about. Researching for the next wedding to crash, John and Jeremy end up at a lavished affair where they meet two rich daughters, Claire and Gloria Cleary and of course fall in love with them. This then leads them to a grand island estate in which these girls reside. That is where the trouble starts and John and Jeremy’s ‘wedding guest’ lies are not working. More comedy than romance in this hilarious movie. I would say that this movie is teetering more towards a guy flick.
OK, Wedding Crashers may be on the border of being a romantic movie or not. But the Overboard movie and Fifty First Dates definitely fall into the parameters of one of the best romance movies. Check out any of these movies with your loved one on any quiet romantic evening. I am sure you will not regret it.
